Erie Promotions & Expos is excited to announce the First Annual ComiCon Erie and our first wave of Celebrity Guests, Artists and Other special features. ComiCon Erie will be held at the Bayfront Convention Center, September 22nd through the 24th, 2017. This year’s event will boast a large array of Vendors, local & Regional Artist, Panels & Seminars, Costume Contests and Celebrity Guests.

Announcing our first wave of Celebrity Guests

Dawn Wells
You may know Dawn Wells as Mary Ann, from the hit show Gilligan’s Island and as now seen on Me TV. Dawn has had an extensive Hollywood career; Wells made her debut on ABC’s The Roaring 20s and the movie The New Interns and was cast in episodes of such television series as 77 Sunset Strip, The Cheyenne Show, Maverick, and Bonanza, before she took the role of Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island. She reprised her character in the various Gilligan’s Island reunion specials, including a reunion cartoon spin-off, Gilligan’s Planet, and three reunion movies: Rescue from Gilligan’s Island, The Castaways on Gilligan’s Island, and The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan’s Island.

She also appeared as a guest star on Wagon Train, Tales of Wells Fargo, 87th Precinct, Surfside 6, Hawaiian Eye, Ripcord, The Everglades, The Detectives (1959 TV series), It’s a Man’s World, Channing, Laramie, Burke’s Law, The Invaders, The Wild Wild West, The F.B.I., Vega$, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, ALF, Herman’s Head, Three Sisters, Pastor Greg, and Roseanne.

Zach Galligan
Galligan’s most notable role was as Billy Peltzer in the Michael Finnell-produced 1984 film Gremlins. Following the first Gremlins film, Galligan appeared in Nothing Lasts Forever. In 1988 he starred as Mark Loftmore in the horror comedy Waxwork. He reprised his role as Billy Peltzer in the 1990 sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch.

Michael Koske
Michael Koske is an American actor living and working in Middle Georgia. His acting credits include frequent appearances as a featured “Walker” on AMC’s The Walking Dead. His zombie likenesses have appeared on t-shirts, LEGOs, and official TWD merchandise, and graced the pages of Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, and The Walking Dead Official Magazine, the cover of The Ultimate Guide to Zombies, Rolling Stone Magazine, and most recently, the cover of TV Guide. He has also appeared as a daywalking vampire on the spinoff for CW’s The Vampire Diaries—The Originals, USA Network’s Roughness, the movie The Crazies, The Following featuring Kevin Bacon, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Need For Speed, Archangel: The Winter’s End Chronicles, the film adaptation of the children’s book series Goosebumps, and Melany Rose.

All of our Celebrity Guest will be available at this year’s ComiCon Erie for special photo ops and autographs. Stay tuned for more updates as we add to this year’s line-up.
