2018 Panama City Creative Con

Creative Con is entering its 9th year as a community event, with each year seeing significant growth. What started with six artists doing free sketches in the foyer of the Bay County Public Library has grown into a creative convention which brings artists and attendees from all over the tri-state area and will fill downtown Panama City with vivid costumers and the sounds of celebration.
Not only does Panama City Creative Con foster career development for aspiring artists and creatives, it is purposed to encourage young people to pursue their passions and develop the valuable tools they already have in their love for the creative realms.

Our third creative con

Please do NOT continue with plans to extend activities in buildings 3 blocks away. At the very least keep the kids activities where the main convention is. Also bring back a photographer for the event. Hoping to leave 5 stars next year.

amazing

My first time going to CreativeCon and it was amazing. It was the perfect size con where you could actually have a conversation with the celebrity guest, and other attendees. Met some new friends and learned new cosplay skills from the panels. I'll definitely be back next year!

I LOVE Creative Con

My whole family can hardly wait to go every year. It has been a creative inspiration for my daughter. Make plans to attend this event and bring your kids or grandkids or the kid next door - it will spark their imaginations and introduce them to career opportunities they never knew were possible!

Hands-down one of the best

One of the best conventions I've ever been a part of. Literally anything that you can consider creativity from face painting to comic book artists, from woodworking creations to writers and actors you name it hands-down one of the best

I plan to be back

Didn't get much floor time because my costume was hot and I couldn't see. Entered the costume contest and got confused because I'm a little deaf, but the staff went out of their way to get me turned around right. Y'all know who you are, and I thank you!

Always a great little con

I've been an attendee for 2 years, and a vendor for one (at this point). The staff is amazing and they always make you feel like family.

Most inclusive art event

Creative Con is the most inclusive art event in Bay County. Artist from all over come to share and be together. The organizers are friendly and caring. The cosplay is always fun and well done! The panels this year were awesome! What an amazing way for the arts community to come together and celebrate being unique!

My favourite annual event

My favourite annual event in Panama City. And one of my favourite of all time. This event is unique among cons as being inclusive, community based, and accessible.

Impressed

It's so impressive to see how this con has grown since it first started at the library. I always have a good time exploring the convention and seeing my friends there. I can't wait to see where this con goes from here.

Will be back!!

Family friendly ... great art work, amazing artists, not just your adverage dress up meet and greet. But the actors are always friendly and a pleasure to be around. Creative con I would say is more about the craft of comic and movies and all the fun in between.
