DESCRIPTION:The Nampa Civic Center launches a premier event for comic and pop culture fans\, Treasure Valley Comic Con.  Learn more about this exciting event by going to www.treasurevalleycomiccon.com. \nThe convention runs Friday\, July 7 to Sunday\, July 9.  Tickets go on sale March 13.  You can purchase tickets directly at www.ictickets.com or by calling the Nampa Civic Center Box Office at 208-468-5555. These are the official ticket outlets. \nThe convention has secured multiple celebrity guests and they will begin to be announced in mid-March.  The Con has a variety of actors\, comic artists\, book authors\, gaming and cosplay celebrities attending the show. A schedule of panels and activities will be released on the Con website and Facebook account. \nThe Nampa Civic Center is the perfect place for this first-year convention because it provides a unique intimate setting to have celebrity\, comic and gaming guests accessible for fan interaction. Batman is one of the most popular superheroes in history. He is also called the Caped Crusader and the Dark Knight. His superhero partners over the years include sidekick Robin\, Batgirl\, police commissioner Jim Gordon\, and Alfred his assistant and butler. \nBatman doesn’t have any superhuman powers\, but relies on high tech gear\, martial arts\, and high intelligence. His special gear for fighting crime is often stored in his utility belt. Stephanie is 26 years old and a wife and mother to two amazing little boys. Their names are Cody (4 years old) and Cameron (2 years old). She is what is known as a Fibre Artist. Specifically she crochets and makes everything from dolls to blankets. \nHer passion started bubbling when she was pregnant with her youngest son. The last few months of her pregnancy\, she had complications so was placed on bed rest. Anxious to find a way to pass the time she took up crocheting. She picked it up really quickly and decided it is what she wanted to do full time (other than being a mommy and wife). Stephanie donates a portion of her sales to Make A Wish Foundation as she herself was a Wish child and knows what a difference they make first hand.So visit IMC3 on Saturday June 3rd and meet Stephanie under the big top in Drake Park! \n\n\n\nDAN TRUDEAU ~ AUTHOR\n\nThe International Marine City Comic Con is very proud to add local author Dan Trudeau to our vendor list! Dan Trudeau was born and raised in the great metropolis of Marine City\, Michigan. Dan studied writing and TV/film production at Western Michigan University\, where he co-created\, co-wrote\, and co-starred in The Flying Turtle Show\, a sketch and improv comedy review.  Since then\, he’s written for video productions\, small press comics\, and has published a collection of his early comedy scripts\, Hold On To the Good Stuff.
