The lines for the signatures were well thought out and didn't clog aisle ways, I never felt overly claustrophobic, and it was just long enough to leave us wanting more without being too much for the family.
I am used to Wizard World Comicon so I was very underwhelmed. The lighting in the venue was very poor, the number ticket situation for Perez was very confusing for those who didn't want sketches done, artists who signed for free should have put a limit on the amount of items to be signed.
Great experience over all. everyone there were a blast to hangout with and talk to. Loved the fact that there were a good amount of comic shop from the area with booths along with some from out of the state.
The general feel of this convention is of being with fellow fans - from the organizers to the invited guests! Theyve definitely made something special here, and not just because its a hometown Con!
The comic books and prices were amazing. I found so many that I needed for 50 cents or a dollar each. I also found many of value in those boxes. It was a great show that reminded me of the old Mansfield mid Ohio cons in the 80's where I got fantastic finds.
Found a lot of things that I was looking for for my collection and saw a lot more love the cosplay all the artists and sketch artists that were there and the enthusiasm of the vendors and the people there.
Its a blast
the most incredible first year Comic Book Convention have ever been to. well organized....a ton of dealers.....amazing artists.......they are talking about expanding next year to avoid the aisle congestion as they grow in attendance. i would rate them an 11 out of 10.
This was my first comic con and I must say that I was very pleased. I will most definitely be going to others. I was able to find some awesome comics and see some awesome things.
Myself and Alvin came from Florida. I will contact when we get home. One Jedi fell... next year more shall fall to Lord Misumi.
